Compliance of Central Guidelines for Manufacturing Water Bottles and Foot Wears in Charan-Paduka Yojana

Bhopal: Foot wears and water bottles for tendu leaf collectors are being purchased by the Forest Department through Rajya Laghu Udyog Nigam under the Madhya Pradesh Store Purchase Rules. Guidelines related to the quality of these articles is being decided by the Laghu Vanopaj Sangh as per the recommendations of the Central Government institutes like Footwear Design and Development Institute-Noida, Central Leather Research institute-Chennai and Central Institute of Plastic engineering and Technology (CIPET)-Bhopal.

The other conditions of the tender have been prepared by the Rajya Laghu Udyog Nigam. Suggestions were given by about 15 organisations in the pre-bid conference held on September 15, 2017. These suggestions were examined by the committees formed by the State Laghu Udyog Nigam and Laghu Vanopaj Sangh. After the permission of the Managing Director of Laghu Vanopaj Sangh, the amended conditions of the tender were issued. Technical and Financial bid were received on October 16, 2017 which include 5 tenders for water bottles,14 tenders for slippers for women and 13 tenders for men’ shoes. The Technical and Financial bids will be finalized by the Laghu Udyog Nigam.-Windowtonews
