Bhopal 08 June 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with Global President of Heartfulness Institute Pujya Daaji Kamlesh Patel planted saplings in the Smart City park. Daaji is the fourth guru of the Sahaj Marg tradition and the global leader and president of the Heartfulness Institute. Chief Minister Chouhan planted Peepal, Neem and Parijat saplings.

While discussing with the media representatives, Chief Minister Chouhan said that if the entire society takes a pledge that everyone will have to participate in the tree-planting campaign to leave the earth safe for the coming generations, then our this small effort will help the earth and with this we will make our life healthy and joyous.

Pujya Daaji, while interacting with the media representatives, said that tree plantation is good for the entire human race. Trees not only give us oxygen, but also absorb negativity from the surroundings and provide all the positive effects. It is also believed in our culture that sleeping under a Peepal tree reduces anger. Thus every plant has its own significance. We should acquire this type of knowledge regarding trees.

Along with Chief Minister Chouhan, Bhopal's social worker Prasanna Jain also planted a Parijat plant on his birthday. Peepal purifies the environment. It has religious and Ayurvedic significance.
