Action against Manager for faulty remark in CM Helpline complaint

Bhopal: Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company has taken action against the Manager of Misrod in Bhopal district for making wrong remark in a complaint registered with C.M. Helpline. Taking disciplinary action against the manager, charge sheet has been issued against him.

Sumit Choudhury of Nirmal State Misrod had registered a complaint with the C.M. Helpline on September 21 regarding some fault in his electricity meter. During redressal of the complaint the L-1 to L-3 level officials had given the wrong remark that the complainant’s meter has been changed. Following the remark the complaint was closed on October 7. When the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister spoke directly to the complainant in this regard, he was told by the latter that the meter had not been changed till date. This fact was further brought to the notice of the senior officials of the Energy Department by the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister following which, not only was the meter at the complainant’s residence changed but a charge sheet was also issued against the concerned employee with immediate effect.-Windowtonews
