Model rate announced in Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana

Bhopal: Average model rates (wholesale) have been announced for the period between October 16 and 30, 2017 on the basis of the set process and provisions under Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana for kharif 2017. The model rates will be Rs 2,580 per quintal for Soyabean, Rs 3,000 per quintal for Urad, Rs 1,190 per quintal for Maize, Rs 4,120 per quintal for Moong, Rs 3,720 per quintal for Peanut and Rs 5,440 per quintal for Til.
Difference of average model sales rates (wholesale) on Agmarknet portal and figures recorded on this portal immediately after end of sale period by up-samiti for payment were issued for calculation. As per the average wholesale model rates, information related with difference amount, by calculating according to the provision of the scheme, will be sent on mobile phone through SMS to farmers registered selling crops in the notified Mandi premises between October 16 and 31, 2017. Decision has been taken to deposit the amount in eligible farmers' bank account, who will be benefited in the period, as per the provision of the scheme. The payment will be ensured as per the circular being issued by the state government in this regard for payment process, after calculation of the due amount under Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana. Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Department has issued directives in this regard to all district collectors.
Godown storage grant
Notified sale period in mandi under the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana has been included in storage period of different crops for Godown Storage grant. Godown storage grant will be given
Rs 9.9 per quintal, according to the proposal of Ware-Housing and Logistic Corporation, on the place of Rs 7 per quintal. Farmer welfare and Agriculture Development Department has issued directives in this regard to all district collectors in this regard.-Windowtonews
