Rs 5 lakh loan for dress making to Bhopal ITI student Saurabh

Bhopal: The Handloom Department has granted Rs 5 lakh loan to ITI student Saurabh Namdev for dress making under Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Yojana. Loans of about 50 students of the state have been approved under various swarozgar schemes. These students have been given guidance for setting up their own enterprise through ‘Udyamita Vikas Cell”. Out of 221 ITIs, guidance related to entrepreneurship development is being given in 181 ITI’s.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Technical Education and Skill Development Deepak Joshi said that he will himself take part in the inauguration of the enterprise to promote new entrepreneurs. He said that the students should reap benefits from the ‘Udyamita Vikas Cell” and become successful entrepreneurs.

The ITI students are being given information about entrepreneurship, start-ups, market survey, recognition of opportunities, process of setting up own enterprise, project form and government schemes at the cell. The Cell is imparting training to ITI officers of ITI, organizing stake holders sensitization workshop to prepare a favourable environment besides regular entrepreneurship counseling session, orientation programme, project form, part time courses and guidance related to industries.-Windowtonews
