Work with Transparency to Avoid Need for Observers

Bhopal: Entire election process should be conducted with full transparency to avoid need for observers. Include all the name of the eligible voters in the voters list. State Election Commissioner R. Parshuram gave these instructions in the training programme of Deputy-Election Officers, Assistant returning Officers, Master Trainers and E-Managers. He mentioned that do not consider gentleness as weakness. Strict action will be taken against the negligence, he added.

Officers of Dhar, Badwani, Khandwa, Guna, Shivpuri, Anuppur, Rewa, Dewas, Sidhi and Singrauli districts participated in the training. Elections in Urban Bodies of these districts are proposed in the ensuing days.

Parshuram stated that any election should not be considered as small. Every election is important. Read the election manual with utmost seriousness. He said that every officer and employee should discharge duties with full devotion.
Secretary State Election Commission Smt. Sunita Tripathi said that election process should be completed according to the directives of the Commission. Deputy Secretary Deepak Saxena informed about the online nomination procedure and handling of EVM. The other Deputy Secretary Girish Sharma gave information on law and order, model code of conduct, election expenditure accounts and SENSE.
