Farmers of Rewa District Become Joyous on receiving Bhavantar Amount

Bhopal: An amount of Rs. 9 lakh 42 thousand 216 towards the Bhavantar (Price Difference) amount has been received by 114 farmers in their bank accounts. Now the farmers have started understanding the benefit of selling crops by registering themselves under the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana.

A sum of Rs. 9,840 towards price difference was received by Ramapati Tripathi of village Hardi in his bank account at the rate of Rs. 2400 per quintal, when he sold 4.10 quintals of urad in the mandi. Naresh Pratap Singh received the price difference amount of Rs. 16 thousand 875 on sale of 5.39 quintal produce of urad and soybean. Similarly, Sursari Singh received Rs. 6,960, Yagya Narayan Singh received Rs. 40 thousand 80, Phoolmati received Rs. 24 thousand 480 and Kashi Prasad received Rs. 23 thousand 216 price difference amount against their agriculture produces. 

Farmers of Rewa district are expressing gratitude towards the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for implementing Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana. This scheme has paved the right way for the farmers in getting rid of the middlemen which is being followed by them now.-Windowtonews
