Jobs to over one lakh unemployed in Job Fair Scheme

Bhopal: The Commerce, Industry and Employment Department is running a job fair scheme to employ youths keeping in mind their educational qualifications in state. More than one lakh 9 thousand youths have been provided jobs in the last one and a half year in Job Fair Scheme. As many as 71 thousand 973 youths were provided jobs in 2016-17 and 38 thousand 92 youths were jobs in 2017-18 upto September -2017. For this 572 job fairs were organized. Recruitment of youths of the state has been ensured in Indian Air Force and Indian Navy also through job fair.

Career Counselling scheme is being run in District Employment offices for registered unemployed applicants in Employment Exchanges of the state.
Counselling is being organized in Employment Exchange premises every week through the scheme in which youths are being guided in fixed groups by a psychologist and related faculty subject experts invited for the purpose. In the last one and a half year, nearly one lakh 10 thousand 600 youths have been provided guidance. For this more than 6 thousand counseling sessions were organized. During counseling, the youths are advised to go for special session according to their capacity and interest.

Online registration facility

Online registration facility has been started in employment offices in state. Applicants can get their registration and renewal done on the employment web portal www.mprojgar.gov.in from anywhere anytime. Employment Exchange is also running Employment Market Information Programme. Under this a private sector establishment with over 25 employees is inspected under provision of The Employment Exchanges (Compulsory Notification of Vacancies) Act. Employment related information for a period of 3 months is collected during the inspection. There is provision of inspection of documents of the planners in Act. Information of educational qualification of employees working in the institution is taken in every two years.-Windowtonews
