Kalchuri Samaj Progresses on its Strength and Hard Work: CM Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Kalchuri Samaj has progressed on the basis of its strength and hard work. It is a matter of happiness that the community has initiated women empowerment activities. The state government has taken several steps for prevention of crimes against women.
Community should stand besides the government in this matter. Moreover, the state government has started Mukhya Mantri Medhvai Vidhyarthi Yojana for meritorious students. The family income limit will be increased to Rs. 8 lakh from Rs. 6 lakh now under this scheme. A venture fund of Rs. 100 crore has been established for young entrepreneurs. Chouhan urged youths to become entrepreneurs and contribute in the development of the state.
CM Chouhan was addressing the programme of Sahastrabaahu Kalchuri Samaj here today. The Former Chief Minister Babulal Gaur and Minister of State for Cooperatives (Independent Charge) Vishwas Sarang were present in the programme.
National President of Kalchuri Samaj, Dilip Suryavanshi stated that schemes made by the state government for the welfare of poor are being followed by other states. He mentioned that the Kalchuri Samaj will solemnize marriages of poor girls once in every month now. The Chief Minister Chouhan released a souvenir and a book titling ‘Ek Jhalak’ of the Kalchuri Samaj. A citation letter was presented to Chouhan in the programme. He blessed newly wedded couples on the occasion.
Vinod Rai, Vijaypal Baliya, MLAs Sandeep Jaiswal, Munmun Rai, Ramkumar Baliya, Baleshwar Dayal, Ashutosh Malviya were present in the programme. Vote of thanks was proposed by Omprakash Chouksey.-Windowtonews
