Jiya gets new life from Mukhya Mantri Bal Hriday Upchar Yojana

Bhopal: Bringing up children gives meaning to the life of every parent. A family’s happiness depends on its children. For a poor family, treatment of their child’s major illness sometimes becomes next to impossible. And they start considering it their bad luck.

But in Jiya’s case this is not so. Five-year-old Jiya belongs to a poor family of Betul district. Her mother fends for the family which includes her old parents and Jiya by stitching clothes. Jiya suffered from a heart ailment. Her mother was much worried over her daughter’s illness because she could not afford expensive treatment. Jiya’s mother then came to know about the Mukhya Mantri Bal Hriday Upchar Yojana at the health camp of National Child Health Programme. When she made an attempt, people started coming forward to help her. Government got Jiya’s heart operation conducted free-of-cost under Mukhya Mantri Bal Hriday Upchar Yojana.

Jiya’s operation was performed at Srikrishna Hridayalay, Nagpur. Now she lives a happy and healthy life. Her mother now happily wishes for her daughter’s long and healthy life.-Windowtonews
