Bhopal: A resident of Gunkheda village of Athner, Gopal Malviya worked earlier as a daily wager doing odd jobs including small glass work and furniture repair in other’s houses. Now he is a proud owner of Kriti Furniture, a shop dealing in aluminium window, door, glass work and furniture works which he opened after availing benefits from Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Yojana. Not stopping at this, Gopal has employed two other persons in his shop.
When Gopal worked as a daily wage labourer, he earned merely Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000 on a monthly basis. A loan of Rs one lakh with Rs 30 thousand grant was made available to Gopal from State Bank under Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Yojana to establish his own business through Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission. With this loan Gopal started his own shop by the name Kriti Furniture. Now his monthly income has reached Rs. 15000 to 18000. And he has even employed two youths to assist him in his shop.-Windowtonews
