Shivram’s income doubles with the help of Mukhya Mantri Arthik Kalyan Yojana

Bhopal: Resident of Champa Talab, Khandwa, Shivram, son of Soma was busy in his traditional profession of shoe repair in a small roadside shop at Teen Puliya for the last 20-25 years. After day long business of repairing and polishing shoes etc, Shivram could only manage to earn Rs 100 per day. Sometime back the Antyavyavasayi Sahkari Vikas Samiti helped him financially with Rs 30,000 under Mukhya Mantri Arthik Kalyan Yojana. This included Rs 15 thousand grant also.
Shivram has to repay only Rs 15 thousand which he is doing so in a small installment of Rs 300 per month. With the help of this scheme, Shivram’s income has increased to over Rs 300 per month from Rs 100. Now his children are very happy.
Shivram has extended his business and started selling new and ready-made shoes and slippers apart from repairing shoes etc. in his shop. This has increased his income to a great extent. He recently got his daughter married. Now he has a son studying in 11th standard. Shivram wants his son to attain quality education and be a success in life.-Windowtonews
