Prepare Redressal Strategy by Foresighting Problems: CM Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that preparation of redressal strategy by foresighting the problems and to make a comprehensive scheme is helpful for the good governance. He further mentioned that bureaucracy of Madhya Pradesh is the best bureaucracy in the country. Collector upto Senior Level Secretaries together with the people work here as per their aspirations. CM Chouhan was addressing the inaugural session of the 3 Day long I.A.S. Service Meet here today. The service meet is being organized by the Madhya Pradesh I.A.S. Association.

Chouhan mentioned that joining Indian Administrative Service is like a mission of the life in itself. Emotion to serve the nation is supreme in this service. Public servant must keep on trying with honesty to make every moment of life meaningful. He further stated that bureaucracy of Madhya Pradesh as a team completed several difficult tasks successfully. Referring to Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana, Chouhan asserted that the initial problems during the implementation of the scheme have been removed and now the scheme is being praised by the farmers.

Moreover, Chouhan stated that making life easy for people, giving direction to the society and to guide people by spreading good views besides construction of roads, culverts and buildings etc. is also work of the government. Deliberating on “Ekatm Yatra”, Chouhan mentioned that Adi Shankaracharya has worked for religious restoration by establishing Maths for the cultural unity and integrity of India. He said that it is must to keep the society united ideologically. Chouhan mentioned that there are some issues of the society, which cannot be solved only by the administration and police. There is a need for society’s cooperation. While referring to the issues related to safety of women and the girls, he stated that initiative has been taken in Madhya Pradesh by enacting law of death penalty to the culprits involved in heinous crime against the girls.

Furthermore, Chouhan mentioned that officers of the Indian Administrative Services must have passion for the welfare of the people and state’s development. We must have positive approach towards every issue. Status quo cannot bring change. Madhya Pradesh is developing rapidly in every sector today with the cooperation of bureaucracy. He said that tendency for working by setting target should be enhanced so that works should be completed on time. While extending best wishes for the New Year, Chouhan said that they must keep themselves ready to set new records in the field of innovative administration in the New Year.

The Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, while informing about the objectives of the meet in his welcome speech, stated that the meet always begins every year with deliberations on some burning issue. He mentioned that discussion on subject “Artificial Intelligence and Administration” will be carried out this year. While introducing the subject, he mentioned that the artificial intelligence is being utilized more and more in various countries of the world today for enhancing the administrative competency. The problem of large data management can be solved by the artificial intelligence. This will help in taking prompt decisions. President M.P. I.A.S. Association Smt. Gouri Singh informed about the outline of the meet. She informed that 5 special awards have been instituted separately for various competitions in the meet.

Tribute was paid to the Member of the Association Arun Pandya, who passed away recently by keeping two minute silence at the beginning of the inaugural session.
