Now 6-year-old Adarsh can talk and hear like other children

Bhopal: Six-year old boy Adarsh, son of Vijay Mistri resides in Karvad village of Petlawad block in Jhabua district and agriculture is their means of livelihood. When a son was born 6 years back, there was celebration in the house. Family and relatives celebrated the event but soon their joy turned into melancholy when they found that the newborn child was deaf and dumb. This caused much concern about the child’s future. Vijay Mistri did not even have enough money to get the child operated. 

When the RBSK team of Health Department reached the village, Vijay got his son examined. The team told him that his son could be treated and that too free of cost.

In RBSK, the child’s operation could be conducted under Mukhya Mantri Bal Shravan Yojana and like other children Adarsh too would start speaking and would be able to hear. After RBSK team doctors advised him, Vijay got his son operated. After the operation, when Adarsh spoke for the first time and the words fell on his father’s Vijay’s ears, tears rolled down his cheeks. The child also heard his father’s reply and smiled back at him.

Today Adarsh can speak and hear and this could be possible only due to Mukhya Mantri Bal Shravan Yojana. This scheme is a boon for lakhs of families like that of Vijay Mistri.-Window To News
