Minister Dr. Mishra performs bhomi poojan of Small Irrigation project Costing Rs. 17.41 crore at village Badokhra

Bhopal: Minister for Water Resources, Public Relations and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Narottam Mishra performed bhoomi poojan of small irrigation scheme to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 17 crore 14 lakh at village-Tahsil Badarwas of District Shivpuri today. Dr. Mishra on the demand of the villagers gave instructions for construction of pond at village Jhulna and runnel on Ajalpur-Surai Road.

Minister Dr. Mishra said that irrigation facility will be provided on 500 hectare land after the completion of small irrigation project at village Badokhara. Eight Hundred twenty five farmers of village Badokhara, Bayinga, Ajalpur and Berkhedi will be benefited by this scheme. This help increasing the ground water level of the village and water will be made available for the animals. Dr. Mishra on this occasion gave information in detail to the villagers about the various public welfare schemes of the state government.

Former MLA Devendra Jain, Narendra Birthare, Virendra Raghuvanshi, Public Representatives and villagers in large number were present in the programme. Minister Dr. Mishra was weighed with laddoos by the villagers on the occasion.-Window To News
