I.G. Police directed for regular press briefing

Bhopal: Home Minister Bhupendra Singh has directed IG Police of all zones of the state to ensure regular press briefing of the actions taken to check law and order system and stop crime.
IG Police have been told to make information of acts of courage and achievements of police to both print and electronic media during the briefing. In the absence of IG Police, the press briefing should be done by a gazetted officer mandatorily.-Window To News
