Resolve to build better society by imbibing integrity of Jeev, Jagat and Jagdish

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Adi Guru Shankaracharya Cultural Unity Trust will be set up at Omkareshwar in state to promote Adi Shankaracharya’ Adwait Darshan in the whole world. Here work of research and study on Adwait Darshan will be undertaken. He was addressing a programme organised in the “Ekatm Yatra” at Adisankara Nilyam, Veliyanad in Kochi district of Kerala today. He flagged off the Shankar Sandesh Vahini. This Vahini ( a mobile exhibition on life and philosophy of Adi Shankaracharya) will reach Omkareshwar via Kalidi, Sringeri, Kanchi, Dwarka, Joshimath, Haridwar and Varanasi on January 22.

Expressing his views on the spiritual event Chouhan said that Adwait Darshan has the capacity to solve all problems in the world. This Darshan can change the flow of this era. It can put an end to terrorism and demonism. He said that it is with the knowledge of Adwait Darshan that one comes to know that the same ‘consciousness’ dwells in all humans and elements. Therefore, all are inter-connected with the same conscience. It is due to this darshan that nature is worshipped in India. Rivers are worshipped and they are not considered different from Supreme Consciousness. He said that Adwait Darshan should reach the common man and not be confined to only temples, maths and experts. Its expansion is for the welfare of mankind. Adi Shankaracharya established cultural unity in India and showed the path of peace and religion to mankind.

Later, CM Chouhan visited Sringeri Math at Kalady, where he perfomed pooja and collected metal pieces and soil for the statue.

The Chief Minister said that Kerala is the birthplace of Adi Shankaracharya but Madhya Pradesh is his ‘Gyanbhumi’. This is why Ekatm Yatras have been taken out from Omkareshwar, Rewa, Amarkantak and Ujjain. The soil of all the places from where the ekatm yatras are passing is being collected in the metal kalash. This soil will be used when the foundation for the statue of Adi shankaracharya will be laid.
The Chief Minister urged the devotees present on the occasion to imbibe the itegroty of Jeev, Jagat and Jagdish and contribute in building a better society, nation and world.-Window To News
