Indore Declaration letter issued in Friends of MP Conclave

Bhopal: Concluding Friends of MP conclave with Indore declaration letter, the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh government will constitute NRI Cell for resolving problems of overseas Indian which will work as 'single window'. He appealed Friends of MP to work as brand ambassador. He said that Madhya Pradesh government will institute 'Madhya Pradesh Ratna' award for those who will make Madhya Pradesh proud by their work in the country and abroad.

 Chief Minister Chouhan said that idea to hold 'Friends of MP' conclave came after his America visit in 2015. Consequently conclave has been held this year. This process will continue. Announcement was made to hold the conclave on January 4 and 5 next year in 2019. Chouhan said that suggestions given by friends, who arrived from 23 countries, will be clubbed. A portal will be launched to invite suggestions from friends of MP by the state government in which ‘talent-pools’ will be introduced to get suggestions from subject experts and the government will examine them. The Chief Minister said that a news letter will be launched to apprise Friends of MP about activities of Madhya Pradesh and prepare data base of all NRIs belong to the state.

 The Chief Minister said that Friends of MP chapter will be formed in other countries. He advised to hold programmes in different countries with the help of the chapters and said that if you people invite us, he or state's representative will definitely attend it. The Chief Minister also suggested to hold cultural programmes on foundation day of Madhya Pradesh on November 1 and plantation on July 2 on environment protection.

 The Chief Minister sang Hindi song 'Ehasaan Mere Dil Par Tumhaara Hai Doston Ye Dil Tumhare Pyaar Ka Maara Hai Doston' in the beginning. On the occasion, Industries Minister Rajendra Shukla, Minister of State for Cooperatives Vishwas Sarang, Mayor, Indore, Smt. Malini Laxman Singh Gaur, Chief Secretary, BP Singh, Principal Secretary, Industries, Mohammed Suleman, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister SK Mishra, Commissioner, Public Relations, P Narhari and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.-Window To News
