Total 87,071 MSME Units file UAMs in 2016-17

Bhopal: Special attention has been paid for the development of M.S.M.E. sector in Madhya Pradesh. At present, there are 3 lakh registered Micro, Small and Medium enterprises in the state and number of these units is increasing rapidly.

Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Independent Charge) Sanjay Satyenndra Pathak while informing this said that Udhyog Adhaar Memorandum (UAM) for registration has been filed by 87 thousand 71 units in the year 2016-17. This is almost double in comparison to the last financial year. He further informed that engineering, textile, pharmaceuticals and food processing units mainly constitute the M.S.M.E sector established in the state.

Madhya Pradesh Incubation and Start Up Policy 2016 has been implemented by the state government to give maximum benefit to the M.S.M.E. sector, to develop entrepreneurship culture and to encourage innovations. This policy is encouraging incubators, plug and play facilities and for setting up start ups. This will help youths to become entrepreneurs and to facilitate employment to others.-Window To News
