Irrigation facility in 650 hectare area
Bhopal: Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra performed bhoomi-pujan of Rs 24 crore 50 lakh Pali-Rajgarh pond (Kolaras) at Kharai village in Shivpuri district on Friday. During the programme he granted gas connection along with gas stoves to four women beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
Dr. Mishra said that while, with the construction of the pond, farmers of seven villages will get irrigation facility in 650 hectare area, water level will rise in nearby areas.
Dr.Mishra said that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is running several schemes for the welfare of farmers. He apprised the people on the occasion with the development works undertaken in Datia in the last eight years.
Sheopur MLA Durgalal Vijay besides other people’s representatives and villagers in a huge nunber were present on the occasion.-Window To News
