Revenue drive brings good results

Bhopal: Chief Secretary BP Singh has said that revenue drive has brought good results in the state. More than ten lakh undisputed name transfer cases have been resolved in last three months, which is a big achievement. Revenue officers are working hard. Revenue related works were lagging behind, hence the three best officers of the state, including Principal Secretary Hariranjan Rao, Manish Rastogi and Commissioner, land record, M. Selvendrum, have been posted in Revenue Department. The Chief Secretary said that review meetings will continue. Sub-divisional level officers will be invited in the meeting in the future. He said that some new information came in every meeting. Information related with name transfer cases under section 190 was received in meeting of Hoshangabad division last time. Chief Secretary warned that no case of name transfer should be decided which causes loss to registration duty. The loss will be recovered from concerned revenue officer. The Chief Secretary today reviewed revenue cases in meeting of divisional revenue officers in Ujjain. Principal Secretary Arun Pandey, Manish Rastogi, divisional commissioner, district collectors of the division and revenue officers were present in the meeting.

 Divisional commissioner MB Ojha informed in the meeting that there is no case pending for five years in the division. Fifty thousand cases, out of 58571 registered in RCMS software have been resolved in the division. Neemuch district is the first in resolving the cases. The divisional commissioner pointed out need of two each TCM machines for all blocks of division for land demarcation.

 Process for updating revenue case management system to continue
 In the meeting, Principal Secretary Revenue Arun Pandey described RCMS software as revolutionary and said that this will bring radical change in the working of revenue courts. Commissioner Land Records M Selvendram informed about the improvements being made in the software. He said that app related with diversion and Sampada is being added in this system. Application is being incorporated with this for automatically record undisputed name transfer case. Name transfer will be recorded with registration and beneficiary will get information through SMS regarding next date of hearing in the case. Online monitoring will be made in lower revenue courts and typed order sheet will be uploaded after scanning. He issued instructions to record cent per cent decisions in RCMS.

 Principal Secretary Hari Ranjan Rao informed in the meeting that the state government is going to distribute land rights patta from January 26. This lease can also be used to get a loan. He instructed to list the Patta given earlier and the new one to be given. Rao asked to make a population map of every village and give a number to each land right letter.-Window To News
