Sewage project of Rs 58 crore sanctioned for Hoshangabad district

Bhopal: The grant Maan Narmada Jayanti Mahotsava was held at Sethani Ghat in Hoshanagabad with full devotion. With his wife, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan performed Kanya-Pooja and abhishek of Maan Narmada at Sethani Ghat. On this occasion, recitation of Narmada Ashthak and the aarti of Narmada ji were held.

Addressing the people, Chief Minister Chouhan said that there is no need to welcome anybody today. Today it is necessary that we worshiped Maan Narmada as as there is no one bigger than Maan Narmada. Maan Narmada is the sacred river giving life to Madhya Pradesh. Maan Narmada is the future of Madhya Pradesh. As a Sevak, I pray that Maan Narmada may bless happiness to 7.50 crore people of the state. All may get respect and wisdom.
 
The Chief Minister said that when he took out Narmada Seva Yatra and Ekatma Yatra, people stated that it is not duty of the chief minister. But I told them that we will do this work as well with other works. The Chief Minister thanked the people for success of Ekatma Yatra. Chouhan said that Adaivat Darshan of Adi Guru Shankaracharya is unique. Solution of every type of terrorism, Naxalism can be found in this philosophy. All have one consciouness, no body is bigger or smaller. Stream of spirituality  prevails in Madhya Pradesh. Lord Ram and Lord Krishna arrived Chitrakoot and Ujjain respectively.

CM Chouhan urged the people to plant maximum number of saplings every year. He informed that plantation at large scale will be carried out this year also on July 2. He further mentioned that a sewerage project costing Rs. 58 crore has been approved for Hoshangabad district Under the project, pure water will be supllied to the agriculture fields by making small pipe lines.

Deepdaan was performed on the occasion of Narmada Jayanti in the programme. Speaker M.P. Vidhan Sabha Dr. Sitasharan Sharma, Minister for Forest Gorishankar Shejwar, MLA Sohagpur Vijay Pal Singh, Former Minister Madhukar Rao Harne, Presidnet Nagarpalika Akhilesh Khandelwal, Chairman M.P.
