CM Chouhan Performs Pooja Archana at Budni Ghat on Narmada Jayanti

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan with his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh reached Budni of district Sehore in the evening today. Chouhan performed pooja archana with traditional rituals on Narmada ghat here and prayed for the welfare, happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. He also laid foundation of sewerage project, costing Rs. 44.55 crore for the city under the Narmada Seva Mission.

Chouhan also distributed land pattas for housing purpose to 278 beneficiaries and presented Samudayik Nivesh Nidhi (Group Investment Fund) of Rs. 20.70 lakh to 34 women self-help groups of 12 villages on the occasion.

It may be mentioned that 13 works worth over Rs. 104 crore are in progress in Budni Nagar Parishad. Cultural programmes were organized on this occasion and a short film directed by Prakash Jha focusing “Namami Devi Narmade”-Narmada Seva Yatra was exhibited by the Public Relations department.

Chairman M.P. Warehousing Corporation Rajendra Singh Rajput, Chairman Salkanpur Trust Mahesh Upadhyaya, President Nagar Parishad Smt. Pushpa Vijay Singh Rajput, other Public representatives and devotees in large number were present on the occasion.-Window To News
