Road Construction Works in Rural Areas to be Completed within Stipulated Time

Finance Minister Malayya Dedicates Road Costing Rs. 1.50 Crore
Bhopal: Minister for Finance Jayant Malayya said that roads being constructed in the rural areas of Damoh district will be completed within stipulated time. He further mentioned that community bhavans will also be constructed in the rural areas for social activities. Malayya was addressing the programme held to dedicate the road built at a cost of Rs. One crore 50 lakh in Amata of the district today. He also distributed free domestic gas connections to 31 beneficiaries under the Ujjawala Yojana on the occasion.
Malayya stated that a community bhavan costing Rs. 10 lakh is being constructed in Amata. He dedicated newly constructed 10 rooms and hall in Jain Dharmshala in Damoh and community bhavan built at a cost of Rs. 10 lakh in village Umri.
Finance Minister Visits Health Camp
Malayya visited free health camp, conducted at tribal dominant village Basni. He praised the free health camp organized by the Lions Club. He mentioned that a financial assistance of up to Rs. 3 lakh is being provided by the state government to the BPL and Labour Card holders for treatment of serious diseases.
Malayya participates in Prerna Samvad Programme in Damoh
Finance Minister Malayya, while interacting with the students of Urdu Higher Secondary School of the School Education Department in Damoh today said that the state government has decided to pay the entire fee of Higher Educational Institutions of meritorious students. He urged students to study hard.
Malayya further mentioned that opportunities to play at national level will be provided to the best hockey players of Damoh district. He informed that work to lay astroturf is being carried out speedily. He dedicated the boundary wall constructed at a cost of about Rs. 19 lakh 30 thousand in Governmnet Urdu Higher Secondary School. Malayya further informed that irrigation scheme worth Rs. 315 crore has been approved by the state government today for Damoh assembly constituency.
This will facilitate irrigation facility to 80 villages. He mentioned that every possible help will be provided for girls’ education in the state. Malayya also inspected gallery constructed in the school.-Window To News
