All homeless persons will be made owners of land : CM Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited Budhe Balaji slums in Guna late on Thursday. Chouhan told the slum dwellers that the state government has made arrangements of wheat and rice for poor people in state at Rs one per kg. He said that the objective behind this arrangement is to ensure that no poor person goes hungry.

CM told slum dwellers that no poor person will remain landless in Madhya Pradesh. All will be given pattas and will be made owners of land. The campaign to distribute pattas to all homeless people in state has begun. Houses will also be made for them on these pattas. He said that 1800 such houses are being made in Guna city and more such houses will be made soon. No one will remain homeless.

Addressing the youth Chouhan told them to study well and move ahead. He said that state government will bear the expenses of getting them admitted in Medical College, Engineering College, ITI, Polytechnic College, Law College or higher education institutes in foreign countries if they pass out of 12th standard with flying colours.

The Chief Minister urged people to consider girls and boys equal and educate them without any bias. He said that the state government is concerned about all sections of society and it is working constantly in this direction.-Window To News
