Traders sell bangles made by Navjyoti Mahila Sahakari Saakh Samiti

Bhopal: Sunita, resident of Bijrawan village of Tikamgarh district was always concerned about her low family income. To become self-reliant, Sunita joined the Bagaaj Mata Self-help Group run by Madhya Pradesh Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana State Rural Livelihood Mission.She got the chance to worked for group formation in several nearby villages. Later she made a plan for her own commercial activity. 
Sunita took a loan of Rs 50,000 from Madhyanchal Rural Bank Digouda and opened a bangle shop. He started earning Rs 300-Rs 400 income from the shop daily. This encouraged her and she decided to employ other women in her shop.

Success Story (Tikamgarh)

Sunitas became a member of Navjyoti Multipurpose Cooperative Credit Committee Limited Digouda and decided to begin work like painting on bangles, designing, making kadas and training rural women in making bangles.

After her bangle business started flourishing. Sunita got 20 to 25 women trained in making bangles and opened a wholesale shop in Digouda. Bangle traders from about 20 to 25 villages of nearby areas today. Sell bangles made by these women. Now Sunita planned to tie up with several schemes for marketing. Along with this, at least 100 women will now be added in this activity to reap more benefit.-Window To News
