100 pc houses electrified in Indore, Mandsaur, Neemuch districts under Soubhagya Yojana

Bhopal: Power connections have been made available in cent percent houses in Indore, Mandsaur and Neemuch districts after implementation of Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana ‘Saubhagya’ in Madhya Pradesh. State government has issued citations to the concerned superintending engineer for electrification of 100 percent houses in these districts before the stipulated time. The Energy Department officials have been appreciated for their dedication and best working system in the citation.

Citations have been issued to Superintending Engineer of Indore Ashok Kumar Sharma, Mandsaur’s Devi Singh Chouhan and Neemuch’s Suresh Chandra Verma.
Much tomming has been done in the three districts for power connection so that no house is left out. Constant information is being taken from the residents of these districts falling under Paschim Ksehtra Vidyut Vitaran Company area on whether there is power connection in the house or not.

So far six lakh 14 thousand 215 houses of all 51 district of the state have been given power connections under Saubhagya Yojana. Earlier these houses had to depend on lanterns or candles without power connection. On the initiative of the Centre and State government now these houses are brightly lit due to power connectivity. It has also brought satisfaction and enthusiasm on the faces of beneficiaries.

Nearly 2 lakh one thousand 564 houses of 20 districts of Purva Vidyut Vitaran Company, 2 lakh 21 thousand 937 houses of 16 districts of Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company and one lakh 90 thousand 714 houses of 15 districts of Pashchim Kshtera Vidyut Vitaran Company have been given power connectivity in the state.-Window To News
