Youth becoming entrepreneurs through self-employment schemes

Bhopal: Different self-employment schemes are proving helpful in making youths in Madhya Pradesh self-reliant. Provision of subsidy with loan in these schemes are attracting youths. The youngsters of the state are now taking more interest in becoming entrepreneurs than doing jobs.
Mithilesh becomes furniture mart owner: Mithilesh Sharma, a 25 -year -old youth of Gada Shivnagar of Jabalpur took a loan under Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udyami Yojana and started his own business of moulded art and lamination and wooden furniture.
His father ran a small business of interior designing. Instead of applying for government jobs after finishing his B.Com, Mithilesh decided to expand his father’s interior designing business alongwith manufacturing wooden furniture. He took a loan under Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udyami Yojana and set up an enterprise by the name Ruchi Home Décor at Muskan Plaza Shatabdipuram Ukhri Road. He began manufacturing furniture with modern machines with the result that within no time, his furniture became much in a demand in local market and nearby areas. He The work undertaken by him includes MDF grill, wooden engraving, membrane PVC, door, MDF Babs etc. of high quality. After repaying a monthly instalment of nearly Rs 31 thousand to Bank of India, he is able to save Rs 20 thousand every month.
Pushpanjali brand fast food is Kritika’s identity: People are liking the taste of ready to eat instant fast food produced under the brand name Kritika Pushpanjali in Jablpur with the help of Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Yojana. With the help of this scheme, Kritika has helped her family overcome severe financial crisis following her father’s prolonged illness, with her financial and mental support.
Due to her interest in cooking since childhood, Kritika had begun a small enterprise under her mother’s guidance. Mahesh received a loan of Rs 50 thousand in the first week of February 2018 from Dena Bank under this scheme. With this money Mahesh started a breakfast corner ‘Rishta Chaat’. He earns about Rs 500 daily from his shop. With a respectable business and source of income, Mahesh’s family is now happy; his children too are now able to concentrate on their studies.
Rahul becomes Satpura Agriculture Machinery owner: Rahul Aarse, from Chhindwada has got a loan of Rs 10 lakh approved from the Syndicate bank main branch with the help of Antyavasayi Sahakari Vikas Samiti under Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar office in the year 2017-18. He started a shop of agricultural equipments like rotavator, Cultivator and seed drill etc. under the name Satpura Agriculture Machinery. Rahul’s financial condition improved after he began his own enterprise.
He now has given employment to three persons in his shop. After repaying bank instalment, he is able to save Rs 20 thousand every month.-Window To News
