State level committee formed to conduct Lok Sabha-Assembly polls simultaneously

Bhopal: State government has constituted a state-level committee in order to conduct Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha and other elections simultaneously. Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra has been nominated president of the committee.

In an order issued by the Department of General Administration Principal Secretary Department of Parliamentary Affairs, Smt. Veera Rana has been made the committee coordinator. Members of the committee include M.P Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Tapan Bhoumik, senior journalist and social worker Girija Shankar and Mahesh Shrivastava, social worker B.D Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary Narmada Valley Development Department Rajnish Vaishya and Retired Indian Administrative Service Officer N.N.
