Over 36 Lakh Beneficiaries getting Rs. 116 crore Social Security Pension by Single Click

Bhopal: Over 36 lakh pension beneficiaries are getting pension on the first day of the month by single click in the state. An amount of over Rs. 116 crore is distributed per month to the old age persons, destitute and widows by the Social Justice and Disabled Persons Welfare department.
According to the information received from the Commissioner Social Justice and Disabled Persons Welfare, the old age persons, destitute and widows got rid of visiting banks repeatedly to get the social security pension. The single click system has been implemented by the state government to deposit amount in the bank accounts of all the beneficiaries. The beneficiaries can withdraw amount as per their convenience.
Moreover, the approval procedure of pension schemes has been simplified by the state government. Gram Panchayat Secretaries have been empowered for the approval of disabled persons and widows’ pension.-Window To News
