Interest Test of 5.40 lakh Government Students Conducted

Students to get guidance from ‘M.P. Career Mitra’ App
Bhopal: An interest test of 5 lakh 40 thousand 875 students pursuing studies in government schools has been conducted in Madhya Pradesh. The test was conducted at 8 thousand 152 government schools of the state. A total of 88 thousand 506 mobile sets were used by the students for the test. It may be mentioned that the test of students, who wish to make career according to their interest after class 10th has been conducted by the School Education department.

Students one at a time expressed their choice by answering 140 questions on M.P. Career App during the test. Besides studies, the test has been conducted on 7 various fields, including uniformed services, agriculture, arts, contemporary arts, health, biology and commerce. The future course will be determined according to the interest of the students. A detail report is being prepared by the School Education department in this connection. The result of the interest test can be viewed on the website of M.P. Career Mitra on April 2. Moreover, the department will also provide a copy of the result to the students.
After the interest test, an aptitude test of the students will also be conducted, the date of the test will be decided by the department. Moreover, the counseling of the students will be held in the month of June under the 3rd phase. The counseling will be held at the schools of the concerned students in presence of their parents.
It is to be highlighted that the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed the department to conduct interest test of the students as regard to their career. An agreement has been signed by the School Education department with the Shyamchi Aai Foundation, Pune for 3 years. This activity has been carried out by the foundation free of cost under the corporate social responsibility.-Window To News
