Website of 5th State Finance Commission Dedicated

Bhopal: With an objective to review the financial status of Panchayati and Municipal Bodies, its strengthening and to give recommendations on distribution of state revenue to be generated during the five year period from 2020-2025 to these bodies, the 5th State Finance Commission has been constituted in Madhya Pradesh. The Commission will submit its report by January 31, 2019.

The website of the commission (5fincom.mp.gov.in) was dedicated by the Chairman of the Commission Himmat Kothari today. Besides other things, the website contains detail about the legal provisions, commission’s background, statistics, tours, meetings and other activities. Suggestions, which have been called by the commission from the month of February from the common men can now be sent online through this website.

The Chairman Kothari hoped that the website will prove beneficial to all the concerned persons especially citizens and local bodies and will prove helpful for the commission to carry out their work in a better manner.
