“Kalidas Prasang” on March 23-24 at Mandsaur

Bhopal: An Arojyaman Saraswat and Cultural programme is being organized by the Kalidas Sanskrit Akademi, Ujjain on the occasion of ‘Kalidas Prasang’ at the historical city of Shree Pashupati Nath Mahadev, Mandsaur on March 23 and 24. Based on the literature of Maha Kavi Kalidas, an exhibition of pictures prepared by the senior artist of the country will also be showcased on the occasion.
Member of Legislative Assembly, Mandsaur Yashpal Singh Sisodiya will grace the inaugural session as the chief guest to be held at 6.00 p.m. at Pashupati Mandir complex on March 23. The programme will be presided by the President City Municipality Prahalad Bandhkar. President Culture department of Vikram University, Ujjain, Prof. Kedar Narayan Joshi Saraswat and Collector Mandsaur will also grace the occasion.
On the same day, a dance drama ‘Abhigyan Shakuntalam’ in Kathak dance form will be showcased at 8.00 p.m. by Smt. Bhattacharya and team of Kolkata. Folk song of the dance drama has been directed by the Dr. Alpana Gandhi of Mandsaur.
Similarly, on the second day i.e. March 24, a research seminar focusing ‘Kalidas Literature’ will be held at 2.00 p.m., after this lecture will be delivered on ‘Meghdoot ka Kavya Soundrya’. Prof. Balkrishna Sharma will be chief speaker and Dr. Murlidhar ‘Chandni Wala’ (Ratlam) will preside over the programme.
Member of Parliament of Mandsaur-Neemuch constituency will be the chief guest of the concluding programme. The programme will be presided over by the President District Panchayat Smt. Priyanka-Dr. Mukesh Giri Swami. Ashok Bhvani of Rajkot (Gujarat) and his team will present bhajans in the evening at 7.00.-Window To News
