State level committee of Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana reconstituted

Bhopal: The state government has reconstituted the Sansad Adarsh Gram committee, which was formed to establish coordination between activities of various departments and for constant monitoring of schemes included in the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY). Now Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development department will be the chairman of the committee.
Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary School Education, Principal Secretary Women and Child Development, Principal Secretary Public Health and Family Welfare, Principal Secretary Labour, principal Secretary Social Justice, Principal Secretary Commerce Industry and Employment, Principal Secretary Finance, Principal Secretary Public Works, Principal Secretary Energy, Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development, Commissioner MNREGA, CEO M.P. State Livelihood Forum have been nominated as members of the committee, whereas Commissioner/Director Panchayat State Directorate has been nominated as member secretary of the committee.
Responsibilities of Reconstituted State Committee
According to the directives of the union SAGY and taking into account the different schemes of the state, the committee will issue directives. Under this, the committee will fix the role and responsibility of employees of gram panchayat, block, district and state level. Moreover, the committee beside reviewing the village development schemes of all the areas to ensure main outputs within the prescribed time limit will give suggestions for changes, if necessary. The committee will review implementation and will fix the monitoring mechanism as the supplementary form of web based monitoring system. Moreover, the committee will issue necessary directives/government orders from time to time to remove hurdles and to prescribe needed technical and administrative assistance.
Furthermore, the state level committee will coordinate with national level committees. The committee will prepare the state level scheme for publicity of the excellent works by preparing the time table during the launch of adarsh villages.
Moreover, it will prepare an outline of redressal mechanism to solve inter-departmental complaints in connection to the Adarsh Gram Yojana, which will be set up at in-charge officer and district level.-Window To News
