Academic session to begin with Joyful Learning from April 2 in Government Schools

Bhopal: Academic session 2018-19 will begin from April 2 in government schools. The State Education Center has issued directives to the district collectors to begin the academic session 2018-19 with joyful learning.

The Director of State Education center Lokesh Jatav has instructed the district collectors through a letter that Bal Sabhas should be organized mandatorily in the government primary and middle school on April 2.

Parents, members of school management committee and senior villagers should be invited in these sabhas. Presentation of local folk song and plays should be showcased during bal sabhas. Apart from this, meeting of school management committee and Matra Sammelan (Mothers’ convention) should also be organized.

A timetable of weekly activities focusing Hindi and Math subject for joyful learning is being provided to the school principals. A programme will also be telecasted at Madhya Pardesh Doordarshan for joyful learning on March 26. This programme will also be relayed on Radio on April 2.

Directives have been issued to provide learning kit consisting of sketch pen, blank paper sheet, colour paper sheet etc. to each student to conduct the activities of joyful learning. It may be mentioned that about 75 lakh students are pursuing studies in 88 thousand 431 government primary schools and 54 thousand 775 middle schools.-Window To News
