Demand of Rs. 2000 crore approved under CRF to repair State’s roads

CM Chouhan meets Union Minister for Road Transport Gadkari
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Union Minister for Road Transport Nitin Gadkari at New Delhi today. On demand of the CM Chouhan, the union minister Gadkari approved a sum of Rs. 2 thousand under the CRF for repairs of the state’s road. Before this, Chouhan apprised the union minister about the bad condition of the bypass roads of the state.
Chouhan also put forth a demand before the union minister to declare 13 roads of 767 k.m. length as national highways. He also urged to include these roads in the annual work plan of next year. Union Minister for Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar was present along with the Chief Minister during the meeting.-Window To News
