Governor extends greetings on Mahavir Jayanti

Bhopal: Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel has extended greetings to the people of the state on Mahavir Jayanti. In her message she said that the 24th Tirthankar Mahavir Swami was a living symbol of non-violence. His life was full of sacrifice and penance.
Governor Smt. Patel said that Mahavir Swami showed the right way and guided the world through his sermons and preachings of truth, non-violence, non-possessiveness, Brahmacharya, forgiveness, soul and Karma. She said that Lord Mahavir’s message is relevant even today for world peace.
