B.Ed. admission system should be simplified

Bhopal: Minister for Higher Education Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya has given directives to propose a new admission process, as over 50 percent B.Ed seats remained vacant in B.Ed. colleges last year. Pawaiya gave instructions during a meeting held with the departmental officers.

Pawaiya said that a major transformational policy has been made for B.Ed. education system. in this context it is necessary to make the admission process simple and qualitative in the B.Ed. institutions of the country. He mentioned that a draft of new admission process should be proposed to get it approved from the Governor.

Pawaiya further stated that the academic session 2019-20 will be considered as a gap year due to the new policy implemented by the union government. Hence, it is necessary to decide the admission process at the state level for 2018-19.-Window To News
