PR Minister Dr. Mishra applauds Datia for leading in housing schemes in the country

Bhopal: Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra congratulated Collector Datia Madan Kumar and all officials/employees for Datia district bagging the first position in the country in implementation of Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme. Dr. Mishra said today at a meeting organized in Datia district headquarters that Datia is leading in several schemes. The credit of this will be given to the administrative team led by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the work being undertaken in this regard. He said that Datia has been leading earlier also in crop insurance scheme, agriculture production, rural development, sports activities, cultural events and newly formed Happiness Department.

Bring more improvements in drinking water arrangement and roads: Dr. Mishra reviewed works related to drinking water, improvement in situation of internal roads and sewer line in Datia urban area. He obtained information of drinking water arrangement in rural areas.

Instruction to withdraw responsibility from executive engineer: During the review Dr. Mishra instructed to take back charge from General Manager/Executive Engineer of Jal Nigam holding him responsible for the delay in Satahi Nal Jal Yojana in a few villages. Dr. Mishra issued instructions to SDM Virendra Katare to remove difficulties being faced in the construction of drinking water tank in rural area.

First meeting for construction of Parthiv Shivling concludes: PR Minister Dr. Mishra held a discussion with social workers in the first meeting organised in connection with the anushtan of construction of the Parthiv Shivling in the coming month of Shravan in Datia.
