Free Text Material distributed to One lakh 26 thousand college students

Bhopal: The state government has distributed text material and selected reference books to about one lakh 26 thousand college students belonging to scheduled tribe and caste in 2017-18. Books have been distributed through Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy.
It may be mentioned that free books worth Rs. 1500 and stationery costing Rs. 500 are given to each student belonging to scheduled caste and tribe, pursuing studies at government colleges at undergraduate and post graduate level. Budget under the scheme has been increased to Rs. 25 crore 30 lakh this year from Rs. 23 crore.-Window To News
