Minimum Rs. 5 thousand and Maximum 1.20 lakh on Crop Loss

Bhopal: Increase has made by the state government in the relief amount provided against the crop loss. Relief amount at the increased rate will be provided against the loss caused to the crop due to hailstorm in the month of February 2018 and in future too. In this connection, an amendment has been made in serial no. 4 of section-6 of the revenue book circular.
According to the order, the relief assistance at par with the value will provided on loss of low value crop, the payable amount in the cases of all crops of one farmer will not be less than Rs. 5 thousand. The amount was Rs. 2 thousand earlier.
Similarly, on crop loss or loss to fruit laden trees like orange, lemon, papaya, banana, grapes, pomegranate etc. and betel leaf barrage, the financial assistance amount maximum up to Rs. One lakh 20 thousand could be given. The maximum limit of this financial assistance was Rs. 60 thousand previously.-Window To News
