PR Minister Dr. Mishra releases book ‘Ratouna Andolan Hindu-Muslim Ekta ka Setubandh’

Bhopal: Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Narottam Mishra participated in lecture programme held on the occasion of Makhanlal Chaturvedi Jayanti at Samanvay Bhavan today. A special lecture was delivered by the Prof. Kuldeep Chandra Agnihotri on the subject of Kashmir problem and solution at the programme of Makhanlal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Patrakarita evam sanchaar Vishvidhyalaya.
Dr. Mishra releases a book “Ratouna Andolan: Hindu-Muslim Ekta ka Setubandh’ of the university, which enlightened the journalist side of Pt. Makhanlal Chaturvedi. The book has been written by the Rector of the university Lajpat Ahuja. The book contains in detail about the article by Pt. Makhanlal, opposing opening of slaughter house by the British government at Ratuona of district Sagar. The renowned journalist Bhai Abdul Ghani had also played an important role in the campaign conducted to oppose opening of the slaughter house. Dr. Mishra appreciated the publication of this book. He mentioned that lot of people know about the literary side of Pt. Makanhlal Chaturvedi, but very few people know about this important work undertaken by him in the journalism field. He hoped that the university will keep on publishing such unexplored incidents of social harmony.
Dr. Mishra accorded welcome to the main orator Prof. Kuldeep Chandar Agnihotri, the Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh Central University, Dharmshala. He mentioned that the lecture delivered by the Prof. Agnihotri on Kasmir ki Samasya and Samadhan is research oriented and enlightening.
Vice Chancellor Jagdish Upasne, officers, professors and students were present in the programme. A news letter of the university was also released in the programme.-Window To News
