CM Chouhan plays the Nagada during Bhariya folk dance

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today took part in the Bhariya Mahasammelan at Rated village of Patalkot region in Chhindwada district. The Chief Minister lauded the music and folk dance presented by the Janjatiya Mandal artistes at the Mahasammelan and also played the Nagada. Chouhan presented Samman Nidhi of Rs 25 thousand to the folk dancers.
CM and his wife enjoy food at Bhariya couple’s house
CM Chouhan accompanied by his wife Smt. Sadhana Singh reached the house of Bhariya couple Sakarlal Bharti-Shantiya Bai at Chhindi gram panchayat. The Chief Minister has food with the couple. Sakarlal told the CM that they work as labourers to fend for their family. They do not have land. Shantiya Bai told the CM that they face great difficulty as they do not have a gas connection in their house. The Chief Minister issued instructions to provide domestic gas connection the family under Ujjwala domestic gas scheme. The CM apprised himself with information about the other members of the family also.
CM gives appointment orders to youths
Chief Minister Chouhan handed over appointment letters for the post of constables to 5 Bhariya boys and 2 Bhariya girls who were found to be eligible in the special recruitment campaign at the Bhariya Mahasammelan.
Inspection of hostel
CM Chouhan inspected adivasi boys hostel at Tola School in Chhindi gram panchayat. He spoke to the hostel superintendent about the arrangements at the hostel and also met the boys residing in the hostel. Later the Chief Minister visited nearby villages also and took stock of availability of drinking water and electricity arrangements there. Chouhan took part in a Bhariya tribe community lunch at Chimtipur village. Bhariya Samaj members felicitated the Chief Minister Chouhan and his wife at the Mahasammelan by adorning them with the traditional peacock crown.-Window To News
