Narsinghpur Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that fruit route will be made like milk route. He said this at village Brahamakund of Gotegaon Janpad Panchayat of Narsinghpur district today. Chouhan along with his wife reached Brahamakund situated at the bank of River Narmada to participate in ‘Namami Devi Narmade’-Seva Yatra. He mentioned that the Narmada Seva Yatra is also an economic journey. Fruit route will be made by the state government for the fruits being produced after undertaking fruits plantation on the both the sides of Narmada banks. Farmers will be economically benefited by this. CM Chouhan said that beside remuneration to dig pits for fruit plantation, 40 percent subsidy will be provided by the government. Moreover, a sum of Rs. 20 thousand per hectare will be given for three years. All the arrangements regarding training, soil testing and availability of saplings to undertake fruit plantation will be made by the state government. In order to stop release of sewage water in Narmada River, installation of treatment plant will be begun from Amarkantak. A centralized system will be established by giving treatment plants’ maintenance responsibility to the good companies. The clean water obtained after the treatment will be supplied through pipelines to the agriculture field of the farmers for irrigation. CM Shri Chouhan said that separate kunds will be constructed to immerse poojan material on the banks of the river Narmada. Furthermore, Shri Chouhan said that liquor shops will not be auctioned from next financial year in the villages located at the banks of River Narmada. Chouhan told the people to cooperate in fight against corruption started by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that he will leave no stone unturned to fight corruption. He administered pledge to all for “Na Khayenge-Na Khaane Denge” we will not take bribe and not let anyone take bribe. Chouhan further mentioned that the Narmada Seva Yatra is now transformed into a public movement. This yatra will be the biggest movement of the world to save environment. He urged all to contribute their best for this. CM Shri Chouhan said that we are giving new dimension to plentiful electricity and tourism from the water of Narmada. The programme was also addressed by the MP Damoh Prahlad Singh Patel and Former Vice Chairman APEX Bank Shri Kailash Soni. Swami Uma Charandas Tyagi, Swami Akhileshwaranand, Samarth Bhaiyyaji Sarkar, Sadhvi Pragya Bharti, Yogmaya, Swami Padamdas Ji, MP Rao Uday Pratap Singh, MLA Gotegaon Dr. Kailash Jatav, MLA Narsinghpur Jalam Singh Patel and MLA Gadarwara Govind Singh Patel were present on the occasion.-WTN
