Bhopal: Minister for Animal Husbandry Antar Singh Arya has written a letter to the Union Minister for Agriculture Radha Mohan Singh expressing gratitude towards abolishing 15 percent service tax on Livestock Insurance Scheme. Letter was written in the month of July by the Minister Arya urging the Union Agriculture Minister to lower the insurance premium rate in Risk Management and Insurance (Livestock) scheme under the N.L.M. Scheme and to abolish 15 percent service tax on Live stock insurance scheme. Order has been issued by the Union Ministry for Agriculture on December 26 after accepting the request to abolish service tax. Arya has again urged the Union Agriculture Minister to lower the rate of insurance premium of Livestock Insurance.-WTN
