PR Minister visits village to village to distribute gas connections

Bhopal: Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Narottam Mishra distributed free gas connections to the poor in Goaghat, Badounikhurd Nagar, Hamirpur, Undrava villages and Datia city of Datia district today. On this occasion, Dr. Mishra has said that Madhya Pradesh government is providing facilities like free gas connections and Pradhanmantri houses now beside wheat, rice and salt at nominal cost. All the poor will have their own pucca house within 2 years and will get gas connections under the Ujjawala Yojana.

Dr. Mishra distributed free gas connections to 100 beneficiaries in Goraghat. He gave gas connection and stove etc. to Pan Kunwar, Mamta and Sumitra Devi on the occasion. He gave free gas connections to 120 women at Kabirpanthi Ashram of village Badouni. He said that the Government of India and Madhya Pradesh Government have intention to provide dust and smoke free environment to the poor, therefore gas connections are being provided to get them rid of fuel related problems.

Moreover, Dr. Mishra distributed 61 free gas connections in village Undrava. He stated that potable water problem of the village has been redressed. Irrigation problem will be solved shortly. In Datia city, Dr. Mishra distributed 25 gas cylinders. Security measures related to gas connection and ideas to save gas were described to the consumers on the occasion.

Hamirpur becomes Smoke Free Ujjawala Village

Public Relations Minister Dr. Mishra during his visit to Hamirpur village, distributed free gas cylinders to 101 families of weaker section. On this occasion, he mentioned that he toured this village along with the Union Minister for Petroleum Dharmendra Pradhan and had made announcement to make the village a smoke free village. All the families of this village possessed gas connections, this village will be called smoke free Ujjawala village now.-Window To News
