Construction works costing Rs. 4.80 crore to be undertaken in Datia Stadium: Minister Dr. Mishra

Bhopal: Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Narottam Mishra has said that construction works at a cost of Rs. 4.80 crore will be carried out in the stadium to promote sports in Datia. He laid foundation of construction works of the first phase to be carried out at a cost of Rs. 2 crore 80 lakh today. Dr. Mishra informed that every facility will be made available in Datia stadium as per the demand of the sportspersons.

Moreover, Dr. Mishra stated that in the programme that Datia district has golden history in the sports arena. He mentioned that Gama Pahalwan had brought laurel to Datia by winning the title of World champion. He informed that boundary wall, steps for seating, multipurpose gym and tracks etc. will be constructed in the stadium under the first phase.-Window To News
