Committee formed for review and amendment of Land-Revenue Code 1959

Bhopal: A committee has been formed to review the rules and to amend the rules or to make new rules under the Madhya Pradesh Land Revenue Code 1959 by the state government. I. S. Dani, Chairman, State Land Reforms Commission will be the Chairman of the Committee and Hari Ranjan Rao Principal Secretary Revenue Department will be the Deputy-Chairman. In the committee, M. Selvandran, Commissioner Land Records and Bandobast, Ashok Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary, State Land Reforms Commission and Secretary Revenue Board will be members. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Bharti Gupta will be the coordinator.

The committee will take up the proposal of amendment in the rules as a result of the proposed amendments in the pursuance of Madhya Pradesh Land Revenue Code (Amendment) Bill 2018, proposed by the formation committee constituted earlier on priority.
