PR Minister Dr. Mishra holds meeting of Disrict Planning Committee in Rewa
Bhopal: Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs and Minister in-charge of Rewa district presided over the meeting of District Planning Committee held at Rewa today. Minister for Industry Rajendra Shukla was also present in the meeting.
Minister Dr. Mishra has told that all the necessary arrangements must be ensured for farmers at procurement centers. Payment should be made to the farmers on time against the procured crops. Ensure proper potable water arrangements in rural and urban areas. Benefit of Pradhamantri Ujjawala Yojana must be provided to all the eligible persons and arrangement for refilling of cylinders should be made at the nearest place. Gas agencies must carry cylinders at haat-bazaars to enable beneficiaries to get the refilling there itself, he added.
Moreover, Minister in-charge Dr. Mishra mentioned that water conservation works should be carried out on priority and also works to revive the water bodies should be completed. He expressed happiness over hundred percent achievement in vaccination work of children and pregnant women in Rewa district under the Mission Indradhanush. Dr. Mishra also gave directives to achieve the electrification target of rural and urban areas within the stipulated time under the Pradhanmantri Soubhagya Yojana.
Furthermore, Minister Duo expressed contentment over the registration of 6 lakh 77 thousand 102 labourers in the district under the registration of labourers of unorganized sector. The District Collector has informed that the verification of the registered beneficiaries will be completed within the next 2-3 days.
Member of Parliament Janardan Mishra, Mayor of Rewa Smt. Mamta Gupta, Chairman of Vindhya Development Authority Subhash, public representatives and senior officers were present on the occasion.
Tourism Development Council’s meeting
Minister in-charge Dr. Mishra took a meeting of Rewa Tourism Development Council. Deliberations in connection to development of existing tourism sites besides new tourism sites held in the meeting. Dr. Mishra has told that historical and ancient sites of Rewa district should be included in the tourism circle by undertaking restoration and beautification works to enable tourists to visit these places comfortably.-Window To News
