About 48 lakh 72 thousand metrict tonne wheat procured on MSP till now

Bhopal: Wheat on minimum support price is being procured in the state. A total of 48 lakh 71 thousand 882 metric tonne has been purchased from 6 lakh 26 thousand 289 farmers through 2897 procurement centers till now. Minimum support price at the rate of Rs. 1735 per quintal and bonus of Rs. 265 per quintal will be paid to farmers. In this way, payment at the rate of Rs. 2 thousand per quintal will be paid to the farmers for selling their wheat on support price. Total 3016 procurement centers have been made for wheat procurement.

Wheat procurement will continue till May 25. Wheat will be procured in Indore and Ujjain division till May 15, whereas procurement will take place in Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions till May 20. Similarly, wheat will be procured in other divisions till May 25.

Maximum wheat procured in Bhopal division

According to the information received from the procurement centers, maximum wheat has been procured through 559 procurement centers in the districts of Bhopal division. Total 12 lakh 74 thousand 266 metric tonne wheat has been procured from one lakh 54 thousand 419 farmers in Bhopal division till now.

Similarly, 10 lakh 26 thousand 16 metric tonne wheat has been procured from 90 thousand 316 farmers thorugh 290 procurement centers. A total of 72 thousand 381 farmers have sold 4 lakh 74 thousand 773 metric tonne wheat on support price at 334 centers of the districts of Indore division till now. Moreover, 6 lakh 91 thousand 114 metric tonne wheat sold by one lakh 10 thosuand 197 farmers thorugh 287 procurement centers in Ujjain division, 2 lakh 97 thousand 387 metric tonne wheat has been sold by 33 thousand 669 farmers through 251 centers in Gwalior division.

Wheat procurement is being carried out at 114 centers of Chambal division. A total of one lakh 57 thousand 437 metric tonne wheat has been sold by 17 thousand 676 farmers at these centers till now. In the same manner, 3 lakh 73 thousand 897 metric tonne wheat from 73 thousand 201 farmers through 375 procurement centers has been procured in Sagar division. Fifty four thousand 33 farmers have sold 4 lakh 52 thousand 975 metric tonne wheat in the district of Jabalpur division.

Similarly, one lakh 21 thousand 545 metric tonne wheat on support price by 19 thousand 701 farmers through 211 centers in Rewa division and 2468 metric tonne wheat by 696 farmers through 44 centers has been sold in Shahdol division till now.

Procurement of gram, red lentil and mustard continue on support price

Gram, red lentil and mustard is also being procured from the farmers on support price by the state government. Procurement is taking place at 563 centers out of total 586 procurement centers. A total of one lakh 77 thousand 748.93 metric tonne gram, redlentil and mustrad from one lakh 18 thousand 760 farmers has been procured by these 563 procurement centers till now that include one lakh 49 thousand 122.65 metric tonne gram from one lakh 905 farmers, 19 thousand 916.45 metrict tonne red lentil from 21 thousand 347 farmers and 10 thousand 160 metric tonne mustard from 7399 farmers.-Window To News
